Lopez
Lopez Island is located in the San Juan Islands, about an hour and a half drive north of Seattle. We are the first ferry stop on the route leaving Anacortes. There are 2200 full time residents and a strong sense of community.
Lopez will take your breath away from its beauty, not its hills! It is considered a perfect cycling destination for all levels of cyclists. It is relatively flat compared to the other islands, coupled with little traffic and beautiful scenery. There are many stops along the way for you to enjoy including amazing beaches, organic farm stands, historic landmarks, wildlife viewing, beautiful vistas, wine tasting and more. Be sure to check out the farmers market with local produce and artisan goods.
